It does what it says. My teeth got 3-4 shades whiter. Not a "Hollywood" result but probably the best I have ever gotten with any other product. I think it is crucial that you make the trays very tight (I think I wasted the first 2 days because the trays were quite loose). Luckily the kit came with 2 pair of trays. I will probably by the refill soon and do another cycle to see if I can get my teeth even wither. Overall I am very happy with the product. It arrived fast, it was greatly packed and looked a high quality product. I absolutely recommend this product!
